Maharaj in form of Lord Shiva

Since 11 years ‘Kawadibaba’, a devotee of Lord Shiva used to collect water from different rivers and go all the way walking to Rameshwaram to perform “Abhishek” (An offering to Lord Shiva). During his final 12th trip to Rameshwaram, he fell sick and visualized his death. He prayed and urged Lord Shiva to let him perform the “Abhishek” last time before dying. That night Lord Shiva came to his dream and told him to perform “Abhishek” on Shree Yashwantrao Maharaj. ‘Kawadibaba’ then started chanting Maha Rudra (very powerful mantra) and performing Abhishek on maharaj. Initially he saw the face of Shree Yashwantrao Maharaj changing and transforming into immense energy and huge light. Ultimately Maharaj was completely transformed into Lord Shivlinga. Kawadibaba was delighted to witness Lord Shiva.

"In the meantime this miracle was spread and everyone was rejoicing and reciting “Shree Yashwantrao Maharaj ki Jai”. Devotees came from all over to seek blessings of Maharaj, including Europeans, his senior government Officials. He treated all people alike irrespective of their religion and caste. The treasury blessed by Lord Vishnu is worshipped in Satana District (Maharashtra State, India), during Shree Yashwantrao Maharaj festival at Satana. Shree Yashwantrao Maharaj became popular as the “Dev Mamledar” through this incident.
Under Maharaj’s guidance, Shree Swamisut, Shree Madhavnath Maharaj of Chitrakut and many others rose to spiritual eminence and contributed a lot to the society.
He also had spiritual discussions with Shree Gajanan Maharaj of Shegaon on the banks of river Godavari."

Maharaj as the “Dev Mamledar”

Satana district(Nashik) was experiencing severe drought. The poor and needy rushed to Shree Yashwantrao Maharaj for help. Maharaj and his wife Rukmini Devi donated whatever they had in their home. Having nothing more to offer his disciples, Maharaj went to his office and asked guard to open the treasury. Subordinates of Maharaj thought that he wanted to check the treasury, but to their shock; Maharaj started distributing the treasury wealth to poor people.
After distribution, Maharaj himself reported this activity to higher authorities at head quarters in Nasik.
A team to investigate on the subject was sent to District Satana. Senior authorities ordered Maharaj to be present in office and they proceeded to check the treasury. They were shocked to see the treasury filled with money, further to their surprise the balances in the treasury were found intact on checking. The security guard intervened saying that he himself closed empty treasury after the incident and had safeguarded the keys since then.
How did this miracle happen? Before leaving to office when Maharaj prayed, he saw Lord Vishnu touching and loading the treasury with money. By this time Maharaj arrived at office and humbly asked what the order was for him; the senior officials stated that the incident will be reported to collector as it is.
